I'm Marcos, a Brazilian developer. In some sense I'm a generalist-specialist: I help bootstrap projects in different areas, sometimes at the same time. It turns out those skills are most useful at early-stage startups — wiring data pipelines and dashboards so revops and finance can actually see and monitor cash flow, or automating QA and testing so new features launch with confidence.

My current goal is figuring out the best strategy for coding with AI assistants: how to get good, reliable, scalable, correct code — and deliver it quicker, with more confidence. So I'm testing all the time. Sometimes breaking stuff.

I'm also interested in small, domain-specific language models that run locally or on edge devices, and in building long-term reliable AI systems — right now, a TTRPG engine that stays consistent across multiple sessions, plans ahead, and keeps its stories straight. Lately: AI red teaming, to understand how to build secure systems from the attacker's side.

Besides that, I love to draw, paint, and brew coffee.
